How do you feel now?

1 is calm; 5 is highest risk. Match the descriptions to how you feel. Between two levels → choose the higher one.

Your level here is 1–5. Audio ranges use the recordings’ original 0–10 numbers.

How the Reset works

After every trade, win or loss: 7 steps, about 2 minutes. Every trade is the first trade of the day. The last trade is closed and gone.

  1. 01

    Stop

    5 s

Hands off the mouse. Mouse hand on the chest.

  2. 02

    Rate

    10 s

Do the 10-second self-rating. Match your body and your urge to one state. Choose it.

  3. 03

    Breathe

    40 s

3 rounds: in 4 through the nose, out 8. Not calm → 2–3 more rounds.

  4. 04

    Let go

    25 s

Eyes off the chart. Shake your hands out. Win or loss: the same words. Do not go over the trade again in your head.

"Win or loss, it is the same now. The trade goes in the box. Nothing from it comes with me."

  5. 05

    Logic

    15 s

Say the one logic line that fits. Default:

"Every trade is the first trade. The last one is closed and gone."

  6. 06

    Anchor

    8 s

Mouse hand on the chest, a long breath out, feel the calm. Back to the Zone.

  7. 07

    Back

    18 s

Rate again. Calm or Distracted → say: "This next trade is my first trade." Then check your setup checklist and wait for the next A+.

Urgent → reset again, or stand up 2–5 min. Two resets and still Urgent or higher → stop for today. Rule-breaking or Overwhelmed → red line plan.

The deep layer: theta track

The reset is the fast layer, after every trade. The theta track is the deep layer, every evening.

  • Theta = slow brain waves, 4–8 per second. You have them when you are very relaxed or half asleep.
  • In that state the mind takes short, calm sentences more easily.
  • The track: deep relaxation, then the same calm sentences, 3 times. About 15–17 min.
  • When: every evening, before sleep. The morning is fine too.
  • Headphones: only if the music has binaural beats (two slightly different tones, one per ear). Without them, speakers are fine.
  • Every day for 3–4 weeks. One listen changes little. A missed day is fine.
  • When Rule-breaking or Overwhelmed: skip it, walk instead.

Audio D · Theta track · 15–17 min

Eyes closed, lying down. Deep relaxation, then the same calm sentences. Not while driving.

  4. Read your rules and say your bargain out loud: "I accept one small loss as the price of trading. The stop stays."
  5. Rate again.
    • Calm or Distracted → open the charts.
    • Urgent → audio A again, or wait 10 min. Still Urgent or higher → no trading today.

  4. Score the day by process only: "Did I follow my plan on every trade? Yes / No."
  5. Any trade that reached Urgent or higher: answer 4 questions.
    • What is the problem?
    • Why does it exist?
    • What is wrong in my thinking?
    • What is the correction?
The answer to the last question is your new logic line.
  6. Computer off. Stand up. Change clothes or take a walk.

About

I have traded for 10 years. I tried many systems: hypnosis, IFS (Internal Family Systems), NLP, mental-game coaching. Some of it worked. Most of it did not stick.

ZoneKeeper is the short list of what really worked, for me and for the traders who tested it with me.

Most trading-psychology programs cost thousands of dollars, some more than 10,000, with no guarantee. ZoneKeeper is simple, cheap, and strong: one 2-minute reset after every trade.

For any day trader who knows their setup but breaks rules when emotion rises.

No account, no tracking. Your check-ins stay in this browser.

Keys: R = reset, Space = pause, Esc = stop.

Audios: A before the session, B with every Reset, C at the end of the session.

The Zone and the five levels

The Zone = calm body, clear and focused mind, steady confidence. Not excited, and not down. You see each trade as new. You do not need this trade to win.

The 3 rules

  1. Trade only when Calm or Distracted and able to follow your plan.
  2. When Urgent: reset. No new trade until you are Calm or Distracted. Two resets in a row and still Urgent or higher → stop for today.
  3. When Rule-breaking or Overwhelmed: red line → stop for today.

10-second self-rating

  1. Mouse hand on the chest. One long breath out.
  2. Ask: "Chest — open or tight?" and "What do I want now — the next A+ setup, or this money back?"
  3. Find the state that fits best. Between two states → choose the higher one.
  4. Say the state out loud. For a recording's number prompt, use its audio range.

Common questions

What is the Zone?

Your best state for trading: calm body, clear and focused mind, steady confidence. Not excited, and not down. You see each trade as new. You do not need this trade to win.

Why five states?

Five choices make it easier to recognise your body and your trading urges. They are practical cues, not exact measurements. Choose the description that fits; between two states, take the higher one. The small audio ranges keep the existing recordings easy to follow.

Why reset after a win too?

A big win is a trigger too. You feel bigger and bet bigger. Anger and happiness both lower your sense of risk.

Where are my check-ins saved?

Only in this browser, on your computer. No account, no tracking.

What is theta?

Theta = slow brain waves, 4–8 per second. You have them when you are very relaxed, half asleep, or deep in hypnosis. In that state the mind takes short, calm sentences more easily.

The proof that binaural beats change brain waves is weak. The method is deep relaxation + the same sentences, every day. The music only helps you relax.

Do binaural beats change my brain waves?

The proof is weak. Studies disagree, and many are small.

What the slow beat does give: a calm, slow mood for the relaxation and the sentences. The method is deep relaxation + the same sentences, every day for 3–4 weeks.
